So Close

Getting ready for a head scan...

It seems as though the miracles just keep coming. Five days ago Megan had a helmet appointment and a head scan. The technician who overseas all the adjustments and details of Meg's helmet came out of the scan evaluation just shaking her head. She asked me to come in the room and look at the computer. I held my breath a little nervous about what she was going to say. She said "Look at that! It is a perfect head!" She also said there are two things with Megan she has never seen before--first she has never seen a head change so quickly and second she has never seen a muscle as tight as the one running down the right side of Megan's neck in the before picture taken at the end of April. If you were to see the after picture it is impossible to know how far little Megan has come. We decided if we were going to be perfectionists, there is one little bump on the top right of the head that could be adjusted slightly. We could have taken the helmet off right then, but there is just this one chance to make her little head perfect, so I figure why not take an extra couple of weeks and do all we can. We are so close to having a helmet free Megan!
