I Said I Wasn't Going to Dress Them Alike...

But, I just can't help myself! Aren't they adorable?! In less than a week they will be four months old. For two nights in a row they have BOTH slept through the night. They are a double does straight from heaven.

Oh, Jake!

Bathing Jake is almost exclusively something Travis does. He and Jake were up to no good the other night, somehow managing to fill the bath so full that if Jake moved even slightly water would spill over on to the floor!
All he wants is to be just like his dad!

The other night we went to K Mart to get Jake some new underwear. He is in between a toddler and a little boy's size. So, getting the new undies was more than just grab a pack off the shelf and go. Travis and I were looking at the available options. Unfortunately the underwear display borders the Little Cesar's pizza in the store and Jake was apparently feeling a little hungry, because while we were trying to make a decision Jake made friends with a nice Spanish family having some pizza. We turned just in time to see Jake grabbing a piece of pizza off their table and it went straight to his mouth! I started mumbling to Travis about what he thought we should do---all he could do is blush and start thanking them. Jacob makes friends everywhere we go (he is just like his dad) and this time he snaked a fresh, hot piece of pizza!

More Wedding

Aunt Karen saved the day and actually took pictures at the wedding. Jake, Justin, and Megan weren't fairly represented in my previous post. So, here they are all dressed up for the special day.

Snowed In

Busted!

It was hard to get a good picture of Megan before church because she was hungry, but she looked way too cute in her hat to not take a quick picture.

Despite the desperate look on his face here, Justin loves the saucer. He loves to be upright and part of everything that is going on in the family room.

Busted Again!

Dad has a little bit of a Facebook hobby and Meg is happy to sit and help him

Grandma Amy sent over a delicious cookie mix. Emma was able to make cookies all on her own only needing help to crack the eggs. She did great!

Is there anything cuter than a fat baby?

We got an extra day of Christmas vacation because Monday we were snowed in! It is nearly all gone now, but Emma and Chill had fun while it lasted.

Meg's Milestones

Before discussing Megan's accomplishments, I had to post this picture. Santa brought this really neat barn for Jake. It seems as though his sisters are finding it is very fun to play with as well!
On to Megan...She rolled over this morning!! She wasn't very happy that she was on her tummy, and has not done it since. She also would love to suck her thumb. From time to time she will get a hold of it. As for Justin, there is just more of him to roll over. He isn't quite there yet. :) He is really strong and pulls his head up all the time like he would love to sit up. He has fallen in love with his hands. He gets them in front of his face and admires them and even talks to them.

Merry Christmas

There is nothing more fun than little kids on Christmas morning....Emma tried to start the festivities at 3:00 a.m., but we somehow managed not to start until 6:30. It was a great day!

Christmas Eve Traditions

Christmas Eve has really become a day of traditions for our family. We always decorate sugar cookies, have a fun dinner at Grandma Jo's, and open new pajamas. This year I let the kids do the cookies all on their own. They were the most adorable shapes and the frosting varied from very little to "hey is there a cookie under there somewhere?". My favorite part of the day was when Grandpa read the Christmas story and Scott's oldest three kids (Savannah, Sara, and Josh) sang the sweetest Christmas song.

The new pajamas
The amazing cookies. This was actually taken early in the project. By the time the kids had finished the table was polka dotted with frosting!

Marc and Kenna Tie the Knot!

December 27th, Marc and Kenna got married! It was such a nice day, but in the craze I did not bring my camera in from the car. Somehow in these pictures I have borrowed from others there is not one picture of Jake! So, there are more pictures coming...

Mom made this amazing dress and Kenna was such a beautiful bride

The collection of babies: Justin, Nathan, and Megan

Me and my bros!

I thought this day would never come... :) and couldn't be happier!
